The Project of the European-wide range is coordinated by 5 founding fathers from EU member states: (Poland, Belgium, Sweden, the Czech Republic, Italy). Apart form participation of the core partners - EFS Managing Authorities, other public authorities, experts and social economy representatives at the local, regional, national and European level are welcome to the Project.

The purpose of the Project is to establish a European network of the institution involved in the development of social economy in order to exchange knowledge, experiences and share best practices. The Network will also work out recommendations for ESF Managing Authorities. Therefore the Project will enable exchange of results between these member states, which have already implemented a clear policy towards the social economy sector and those countries, where social economy does not have long tradition and is not recognized by public authorities.

The Network will start working based on the experiences gained in the past 6 years within EQUAL and other European programmes/initiatives. In the scope of its interest the Network will be divided into working groups tackling with the identified 5 key subjects:

1.    Social franchising;
2.    Financial instruments and mechanisms of fund allocation to social economy;
3.    Measuring social added value and quality standards;
4.    Social responsible public procurement and public social partnership;
5.    Community law, public assistance and social services of general interest.

Ministry of Regional Development is currently forming a working group responsible for tackling with the 4th theme - Social responsible public procurement and public social partnership in the context of social economy.
