The goal of the ‘Work in Poland’ programme is to reinforce the skills and effectiveness of non-governmental organisations providing services for the labour market, particularly in the use of information technology. The ‘Work in Poland’ programme is carried out by the Foundation for Social and Economic Initiatives (FISE), under the auspices of the Polish-American Freedom Foundation.

This goal is being achieved via four programme components:

[>] Know-how
Development of analytical support for providing and spreading the knowledge needed by NGOs to implement effective actions for their beneficiaries on the labour market, with particular emphasis on wage-earning emigration.

Informational and educational actions targeted to NGOs serving the unemployed who are using or would like to use IT solutions in their work.

Grant competition – financial support for 5 NGOs chosen by contest to implement innovative projects on behalf of the local labour market.
